Terms of use
These are the terms of use for the Docker Visit Bot Telegram bot and its Mini App for booking with specialists. By using the bot you agree to what is written below. A specialist also confirms their agreement separately, with a checkbox, when creating their page. If any of it does not work for you, simply do not use the service.
What this service is
The bot helps specialists — nail artists, tutors, consultants and others — take bookings: a page with services and free time, requests, reminders, rescheduling and cancellation, a catalog of specialists, reviews and statistics. It is free to use — for specialists and for the people who book with them.
The service is run by an individual developer (who also runs Docker Event Bot). It is not a company, not a support desk, and comes with no guaranteed response time.
The bot is a tool, not a service provider
Everything you see on a specialist's page — name, title, category, city, services, prices, duration, address, map link, “About”, picture, work photos, social media and website links — is written by the specialist, not by the developer. The developer does not check it in advance, does not provide the services and takes no part in arrangements between a specialist and a client.
The specialist is responsible for the service: for being entitled to provide it (if it requires a licence, qualification or registration, they have it), for it being lawful and safe, for the description and prices being true, and for seeing clients at the booked time.
We do not check the links specialists put on their pages. Open them with the same care as any link from people you don't know.
If you are a specialist
- tell the truth about yourself and your services and keep your page up to date: if you are not taking clients, close bookings or set days off;
- answer requests and let clients know if a booking is cancelled;
- mark a no-show only if the client really did not come: other specialists see these marks in the client's attendance statistics;
- use clients' data — name, username, phone, your notes — only for the booking and communication about it: not for mailings or advertising, and do not pass it to anyone;
- add bookings by hand only for people who asked you to;
- post only your own work in work photos; if a person can be seen in a photo — only with their consent.
If you are booking
- book a time when you really plan to come, and do not hold slots “just in case”;
- if you can't come, cancel the booking so the slot frees up for others. Cancelling a confirmed booking less than 2 hours before the start counts as a late cancellation (except in the first 10 minutes after booking);
- write reviews about your own visit and to the point.
Specialists you book with see your attendance statistics with all specialists over the past year — numbers only: visits, no-shows and late cancellations. Reasons for cancelling and the names of other specialists are not shown. Whether to accept a booking is up to the specialist — the service itself does not block anyone.
Salons
A salon owner creates a salon page and invites specialists with an invite link; a specialist joins on their own and may leave at any time. A specialist has one schedule across all their pages: a booking at a salon takes their time on their own page too.
- the owner is responsible for the salon page just as a specialist is for their own, and invites only people who agree to work at the salon through the bot;
- the salon's clients, their bookings and visit history belong to the salon: a specialist sees their clients while working at the salon and loses access when they leave; salon client data is only for booking and related communication, as for a specialist;
- the owner may appoint administrators — they run the salon (bookings, specialists' schedules, clients, price list, page), but only the owner can delete the salon, change its link or appoint administrators;
- the owner and administrators see a specialist's schedule at the salon, and their time on their own page and at other salons only as “busy”, without clients;
- the specialist who provides a service is responsible for it, the salon — for what its page promises; arrangements between the salon and the specialist (pay, schedule, employment) are outside the bot.
Who may use the bot
You may use the bot if you are old enough to use Telegram and, under the law of your country, to consent to the processing of your data yourself.
What is not allowed
You may not use the bot to:
- offer services that are unlawful to provide or take part in — including without a licence or permit where the law requires one;
- offer, sell or help obtain anything prohibited or restricted by law: drugs, weapons, forged documents, illegal gambling, stolen goods and the like;
- offer sexual services, or do anything involving the sexual exploitation of, or harm to, minors;
- incite violence, terrorism or extremism, spread hatred, or bully, threaten or insult people — including in reviews and cancellation reasons;
- deceive people: fraud, phishing or malicious links, extracting money or data;
- send advertising or spam, including through the “Message” button;
- post other people's personal data or photos, impersonate another person or specialist, or book people without their knowledge;
- make fake bookings to fill up someone's schedule, or write fake reviews — about yourself or others;
- automate taps and requests in a way that degrades the service for others, or attempt to access other people's pages, bookings and data.
Money
The bot does NOT accept or transfer payments. Prices on a page are the specialist's information. Payment, deposits, refunds and anything else about money are settled directly with the specialist, and the bot knows nothing about it.
Catalog and reviews
A specialist's page appears in the catalog right after it is created; the specialist can take it out of the catalog themselves, and booking by link keeps working. The bot's owner sees new pages and pictures and may remove a page from the catalog if it breaks these rules.
A review of a specialist can only be left about your own completed visit. The rating and text are visible to everyone on the specialist's page — with your first name, without your last name or username. The specialist can hide the text of a review; the rating stays in the average.
How we enforce the rules
We do not check anything in advance, but we may review pages, pictures and reviews to find violations — and we always look into reports.
If the rules are broken, we may remove a page from the catalog, delete a page, review or picture, and close a person's access to the service. If you think the decision is a mistake, write to us and we will review it.
How to report
If you see something unlawful or against these rules through the bot, write to dockereventbot@gmail.com or use the “Idea or bug” form in the Mini App Profile (type “Other”). Include the link to the specialist's page or their name and say what exactly is wrong. We will look into it and, if you left a way to reach you, tell you what we decided.
Requests from authorities
We disclose users' data only on a lawful request from competent authorities and only to the extent the law requires. If what happens in the bot points to a threat to people's life or safety, we will report it to law enforcement.
The service is provided “as is”
We do our best to keep the bot running, but we do not promise continuous availability, data preservation, or that every message will arrive. Telegram may throttle message delivery, the server may go down, and data may be lost to a failure.
So do not rely on a reminder as the only way to remember a visit: the booking is always visible in the app — under “Bookings” for clients and in the “Schedule” for specialists.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind. The developer is not liable for losses or inconvenience caused by the bot being unavailable, by data loss, by an undelivered message, by the actions of other users, by the content of pages, reviews and messages that users create, or by the service itself and how it was provided — to the extent such a limitation is permitted by applicable law.
Claims about a service, its quality, price or cancellation are to be addressed to the specialist. If claims are brought against the developer because of your page, your service or anything you posted through the bot, you will cover the related costs — to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Your data
Which personal data is processed, why, and how to delete it is described in the privacy policy (link at the bottom of the Profile and on the website). You can delete your data yourself: send the /privacy command to the bot in a direct message. A specialist can delete just their page — in “Page & link” settings.
Changes and termination
These terms may change: the “updated” date at the top always shows the current version. If the terms change materially, a specialist confirms their agreement again — the workspace will ask for it. We may restrict access to the service or discontinue it — for example, if the rules above are broken. You, in turn, may stop using the bot and delete your data at any time.

Send questions about these terms and reports of abuse to dockereventbot@gmail.com or through the “Idea or bug” form: open the bot @DockerVisitBot → “Profile” → “Suggest an idea or report a bug”.
